Relational recruiting = preparation + transparency + advocacy + measurement + trust
Experience
I discovered recruiting after a 10 year career in sales, and never looked back. I discovered not only my love for recruiting, but also saw a need for change in the profession: an experience that was more empathetic, validating and motivating than what I had experienced as a candidate myself. After maintaining a stellar offer-to-hire ratio, efficient time-to-hire results, and building teams through my in-house recruiting roles at Mondo, MuteSix, DEPT and Pear Commerce, I sensed it was the right time to embark on a journey that allowed me to be of greater service to the changing talent market, and advocate for a new way forward.
I firmly believe that recruiting can be smooth, seamless and frictionless, and work to create this experience each and every time. This can be achieved through preparation and trust-based relationships, by an approach I call relational recruiting. This is the exact opposite of transactional recruiting: achieving a hire at any cost, by any means necessary.
Relational recruiting = preparation + transparency + advocacy + measurement + trust
Transactional recruiting fills a role in the short term, where relational recruiting leaves a lasting impact and delivers long-term value. As a fractional recruiter, I partner with early stage startups and smaller organizations to offer flexible solutions that meet your needs, whether it’s hiring a single individual, multiple roles, building a team or creating processes for seamless future hiring.
